Gunjan Sharma is the founder of a fitness company named Flexible Fitness. His company emphasizes creating a functional ecosystem. Sharma is working as a fitness trainer since twenty years.
Gunjan Sharma case explained
A video posted on Instagram features an emotional Michelle requesting for “urgent and desperate plea for help.” She claimed that she was assaulted by the yoga trainer Gunjan Sharma on the 11th of May, 2023. She considered Gunjan a respectable yoga coach.
She has alleged that later she come to know that he had s*xually assaulted and m*lested numerous women, including young girls. Gunjan is assaulting girls for ten years and they had been traumatized to speak up until now.
“I filed an FIR in the police station, but Gunjan Sharma was arrested and then released within less than a day despite the fact, that he is a s*xual predator,” Michelle said via a video.
She has added that while this legal battle might take two to four years, none of the survivors felt safe knowing that he was free and he could harm anyone at any time.
“He assaulted and also touched me in my own home, and knowing Gunjan Sharma is a predator, I can’t go to sleep knowing this might happen to another woman,” Michelle said.
Having tears, Michelle revealed that he is supposed to be behind bars during the duration of the trial. She pleaded with the Mumbai police to take some serious action against him for the women survivors involved in his bad intentions.
In another video, Michelle revealed she was in a position to use the platform to not just save and seek justice but also for the other survivors and girls who suffered after her.
She ended her last video by just thanking everyone who had done their best in giving her strength, support, and protection so far. “This is a long and grueling fight, but together hopefully we can make a big difference,” Michelle said.
