Gulfisha Fatima hails from Seelampur which is situated in Northeast Delhi. She is a well-known activist. On the 9th of April 2023, she finished her three years in jail in connection with the Delhi anti-Hindu riots cases under the UAPA.
Gulfisha Fatima is on the list of dozens of anti-CAA protesters who are under terror charges. She was alleged in the conspiracy which was behind violence and was broken in February of 2020 54 people died and most of them were Hindus.
Gulfisha Fatima is an Urdu Masters’ student at Delhi University. She is also an MBA graduate and a well-known radio jockey. Gul was also a part of the anti-CAA-NPR-NRC movement. This movement facilitated and produced the leadership of young local women leaders like Gulfisha Fatima who peddled unabated diatribe and hate against Hindus in a bid to belittle the Narendra Modi lead government.
“Fatima has learned and emerged organically as the movement progressed and strengthened, overcoming several vulnerabilities and while building new solidarities all across the communities, for becoming a powerful voice of collective assertion and the democratic resistance,” read a solidarity statement which was released last year in 2022.
Gulfisha Fatima’s height is 5 feet 6 inches approximately and her weight is 60 kg as of 2023.
Both the FIRs filed against her accuse Fatima of serious charges. Presently she is 31 years old in 2023. She has instigated local Muslims from 22 to 24 February in Delhi during CAA protests. As per police reports, she opened an office near the protest site and conspired with Muslims in the name of peaceful protest.
