The Giants outbid Delhi Capitals in an intense bidding war to secure the services of the explosive batter, whose power-hitting prowess promises to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.
Gujarat Giants head coach Michael Klinger expressed delight over acquiring Simran, along with Deandra Dottin, who is set to return to the franchise for the 2025 edition. Klinger revealed that Simran was one of their top targets, crediting the management’s meticulous monitoring of domestic tournaments in India. He highlighted Simran’s exceptional ability to hit sixes right from the get-go, a quality the Giants were specifically seeking to strengthen their lower-middle order.
Simran’s journey in the WPL has been a mix of challenges and resilience.
