Vangelis Pavlidis career

Vangelis Pavlidis signed a professional deal on April 9, 2016 with Vfl Bochum, which ran through the summer of 2019. He made his club debut on May 15, 2016, coming on as a substitute in a 6-2 victory over 1.

Pavlidis signed a loan deal with Borussia Dortmund II on January 26, 2018, for the second half of the 2018–19 campaign. Willem II announced on January 17, 2019, that Pavlidis will be joining on loan from Bochum till the end of the 2018–19 campaign.

He netted his first goal for the team on January 23, 2019, following an assist from Marios Vrousai in a 3–2 KNVB Beker victory over FC Twente on the road.

Pavlidis signed a contract with Dutch team AZ Alkmaar on July 9, 2021, which was to run until 2025 before he joined Benfica this season till June 30, 2029. Coach John van ‘t Schip called up Pavlidis to the Greek senior squad on August 29, 2019, in preparation for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Finland and Liechtenstein.

Pavlidis earned 600,000 euros per season at AZ Alkmaar and makes € 55,385 weekly and € 2,880,000 yearly at Benfica.
