It has been revealed that Gregg Wallace would be replaced by restaurant critic Grace Dent in the upcoming season of the BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef show.
Alongside regular host John Torode, Grace Dent, who is a restaurant critic for the Guardian and penned a column for the Evening Standard from 2011 to 2017, will judge the show’s 20th season.
In November, Wallace, 60, left the show due to an outside investigation into claims of sexual misconduct. According to his attorneys, it is completely untrue that he acts in a s*xually harassing manner. Dent, 51, competed in MasterChef: Battle of the Critics last year and has frequently made guest appearances on the show.

51 year old Grace was born on October 3, 1973 and while she’s unmarried, she’s dating Charles. Grace Dent doesn’t have children and she has previously opened up about making the decision not to have kids as she doesn’t like them.
Dent was born and raised by her parents in Carlisle and went on to pursue education at Stirling University getting an English Literature degree in the process and during her time at university, Dent kicked off her journalism career, writing features for Cosmopolitan.
The English columnist, author and broadcaster who is best known for being a restaurant critic at The Guardian from 2017-2021 has a net worth of 3 million pounds.

Grace has authored more than 20 books over her career; her debut novel, It’s A Girl Thing, was released in 2003.
In addition, she has hosted nine seasons of the celebrity food podcast Comfort Eating and several BBC radio shows.
She has also made appearances on Celebrity MasterChef, MasterChef, and MasterChef: The Professionals.
