Gouri Anil Sambrekar murdered by husband
Gouri Anil Sambrekar was a resident of Bengaluru who was brutally murdered by her own husband, Rakesh Rajendra Khedekar. The shocking murder took place on March 26, following an argument regarding Gouri’s unemployment. According to reports, the incident took place in their Bengaluru residence. Gouri had reportedly been struggling to find employment after relocating to Bengaluru for her husband’s work.
She reportedly blamed Rakesh for her jobless status and frequently expressed a desire to return to Maharashtra. The ongoing tension escalated into a violent exchange as Gouri threw a knife at Rakesh, who in turn retaliated by stabbing her multiple times, leading to her death. Rakesh later confessed to the crime himself and eventually got apprehended by the police near Pune.
According to reports, Rakesh stayed beside the body and kept talking to it the whole night after the murder. He even attempted to commit suicide by drinking phenyl before the police came and apprehended him.

She was a very driven and ambitious woman with a background in the corporate sector, having previously worked in Maharashtra before moving to Bengaluru with her husband. Her sudden and untimely demise has left her family and friends in deep shock and sorrow.
Rakesh Rajendra Khedekar of Jogeshwari in Mumbai is an Indian IT professional who recently went viral after admitting to murdering his wife, Gouri who was from Maharasthra. Khedekar has had years of experience in project coordination and management and recently relocated to Bengaluru for work. Rakesh Rajendra Khedekar is currently 36 years old and has a background in technology.
“The husband is alleged to have attempted suicide. He has been admitted to a hospital in Pune. The relatives of the victim have come to Bengaluru to identify the body and file a complaint. The prima facie indication is that the motive for the murder is a marital dispute,” the Bengaluru police commissioner said.
Khedekar left Bengaluru for Mumbai in a car after allegedly killing his wife and consumed poison, and was found unconscious in Shirwal in the state’s Satara district at around 8.30 pm Thursday.

The couple had been married for two years, and moved to the third floor of the rented house in February this year and Khedekar worked as a project manager in Hitachi, and his wife Sambrekar was a homemaker who was looking for a job.
