Goran Ivanievi was born on September 13, 1971, and is a coach from Croatia. He was born to Gorana and Sr. Ivanievi. When he was younger, Jelena Geni trained him. He turned professional in 1988, and later that year in Frankfurt, he and Rüdiger Haas won their first doubles championship. 

He played professionally from 1988 to 2004. He is the only athlete to have come as a wild card to win the Wimbledon men’s singles title. In 2020, he was admitted to the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
