In order to concentrate on golf at that point, she was just attending Citrus Cove Elementary School in the mornings and doing her other coursework online through Florida Virtual School. She stated in the movie that her goal was to become the first female competitor at Augusta, and seven years later, she succeeded in her endeavour.

Alexa Pano was the first Drive, Chip, and Putt competitor to reach the national finals three times.
When Pano participated in the 2016 Yonex Ladies Open at the age of 11, she became the youngest golfer to compete in an LPGA of Japan Tour event. Pano participated in the 2018 Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, her maiden LPGA Tour competition, at the age of 13. She competed for the United States and won the Junior Ryder Cup in that same year.
April 2022 marked Pano’s professional debut. She qualified for the 2021 LPGA Qualifying Tournament by placing T-10th at Stage II, earning her a spot on the Epson Tour. Through Q-School, she obtained her 2023 LPGA Tour card.
At the ISPS Handa World Invitational at Galgorm Castle Golf Club on August 20, 2023, she won her first professional title on her 19th birthday (76-70-69-66=281, 8-under-par) after defeating Gabriella Cowley and Esther Henseleit in a three-hole playoff.
