Who Is Gianni Infantino?

Gianni Infantino is a well-known Swiss-Italian football administrator and has been well-known for being the current president of FIFA. He has been in the news because he recently criticized western media for discriminating against the Qatar World Cup.

His full name isย Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino. He was born in Brig, Switzerland, on March 23, 1970. His parents are Italian immigrants from Lombardy and Calabria. He holds both Swiss and Italian citizenship.

Gianni Infantino attended the University of Fribourg to study law. He speaks English, Portuguese, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, French, and German with ease.

He was married to Leena Al Ashqar, a Lebanese woman. They have four kids together.
