Football players from high schools and colleges who want to make it big can train with the man himself, Mark Taylor. On his personal Facebook page, he can be seen posing for photos with various black athletes, including Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, Alabama’s Nick Saban, Florida’s former coach Dan Mullen, and Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney.
Taylor is a Georgia-based football trainer from Houston County and is also the owner of Speed Edge Sports, a business in Macon, Georgia, training prospective college athletes. His training camp operates out of a space rented from a Christian school.
According to reports, Taylor was a long-time teacher in the Houston County School District, however, a district spokesperson confirmed that he had not taught within the district since 2007 after being banished and put on probation for stalking a teacher.
His bio claims that he played at the University of Georgia and that he is a six-time Georgia High School Association Coach of the Year on Twitter.
Speed Edge Sports’ proprietor Mark was featured in three social media videos. Mark claimed in one of these videos that he had never met a white person in Atlanta. The trainer went on and on about how almost everyone in the city was black.
“I haven’t seen a white person in sight,” he says. On the street, there are homeless people. Every restaurant in this area is black. Every car in their path is black. Atlanta is theirs.” He goes on to tell a man he calls “Ro” that Atlanta used to be a nice place. He does, however, prefer to avoid people these days. “You and [unclear] should come up here and hunt.” There’s nothing here. There’s nothing but blacks. ”Atlanta has been destroyed,” he informs the individual.
In a later video, a black woman-driven car appears to have cut off Mark in the street. Offended, the instructor brought it up again to his companion Ro, saying, “Ro, look at this n***er trying to pull out right in front of me right here.” “Do you see that tree right there?” he asks the female driver, pointing to a nearby tree. Ro is going to hang you from that tree.”
Taylor records himself in a hotel room in the most recent video posted online. The video then degrades as the man rants about bringing up chicken wings, a “redbone,” and a “white girl” at a “cheap rate.”
In another video, Mark focuses his camera on a woman sitting in her car, accusing her of trying to pull out in front of him and calling her the N-word.
