Gaurav Ajmera’s Vetic Pet Clinic in Thane West faced forced closure following the emergence of a distressing video from its grooming center, revealing staff members physically abusing a pet dog.
“This is a deeply disturbing incident involving a pet and 2 of our groomers. As pet parents and animal lovers, this is shocking and completely unacceptable to us.
“As a first step, we have immediately terminated both of them and launched a formal investigation into this. We are also working alongside the authorities and have initiated police action in this matter.
“We understand the trust you place in us when you choose Vetic for your furry baby’s care, and we are committed to upholding that trust with the highest standards of compassion and professionalism,” said a Vetic spokesperson.

Animal advocates and lovers were deeply outraged by the horrible video, and they immediately called the authorities to report the occurrence. Later, the Thane police apprehended the two people who had committed the disgusting conduct that had been captured on video.
Pictures of the arrested people are making the rounds on the internet, but their names have not been made public. Simultaneously, the police decided to close the pet clinic completely.

According to reports, the incident occurred in early February while the pet owner was enjoying their wedding and left their dog at the Thane-based clinic. The boarding services at the center, however, proved to be a nightmare for the pet. Before the upsetting footage of the horrible occurrence became public, the owner was unaware of the abuse.
Following the incident, the injured dog was sent to PetAshram, a Thane pet boarding facility, where it is reportedly making a full recovery. Due to the issue, Gaurav Ajmera of Vetic Pet Clinic is being closely watched and is becoming a hot topic of conversation in the neighborhood.

Who is Gaurav Ajmera?
Gaurav Ajmera is an Indian businessman, engineer and entrepreneur. He has been in the news because he faces public scrutiny as the clinic shuts down following the arrest of staff members caught on camera physically abusing a pet dog.
He was born and brought up in Haryana, India. Following his schooling, he attended the Indian Institute of Technology, where he did B.Tech. & M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering.
His career
Gaurav Ajmera began his career as an engineer in charge at Schlumberger in Saudi Arabia from 2009 to 2015. Afterward, he moved to OYO, where he spent five years in a variety of important capacities. He spent four years and one month as the Vice President of Business for the North Region in Gurgaon, India, and then another year in Gurugram as the Chief Revenue Officer. From 2019 to 2020, Gaurav also assumed the position of COO for South Asia and India in Gurgaon.
Following this, he spent a year and five months as Chief Business Officer at Pristyn Care in Gurugram. Currently, Gaurav Ajmera has ventured into entrepreneurship, founding Vetic in April 2022, where he serves as the founder.
