Gareth Southgate OBE was born on 3 September 1970 and is 52 years old. He is 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and is a former defender and midfielder who currently manages the English National Football Team. Since 2016, he has served as the national team’s manager for England. He spent nine years with the England team before hanging up his playing shoes in 2006.

Before taking on that position with the England under-21 team in 2013, he served as manager of Middlesbrough from 2006 to 2009.
