The former singer for Slice The Cake and Novena, is apparently dealing with “serious criminal charges.” Currently, the accusations against the musician have not been made public. The two musical ensembles, however, have openly denounced their behaviour.
The Former Band Member Comes Forward To Denounce Gareth Mason
The progressive metal band Slice The Cake made Gareth Mason famous as a musician. However, the group made the announcement that Mason had left in December 2022.

Gareth Mason’s activities are being addressed on social media by Slice The Cake and Novena.
On Facebook, Slice The Cake expressed their “profound disappointment and unequivocal condemnation of this matter.” Additionally, they expressed regret for being unable to discuss Mason’s criminal charges in detail because of the “sensitive legal nature of the situation.”
Novena said on his social media account that they had been previously informed about the criminal allegations against their former vocalist, Gareth Mason. All they could say is that the allegations against Gareth are serious enough for them to condemn in the strongest possible terms, and they are disgusted and sickened by the claims.
In the statement, they said that they had no contact with Mason “for almost a year”.
Novena further added, “This will be permanent and irrevocable in light of the claims, and we want to be clear that the alleged behaviour is completely at odds with what Novena and any moral person stand for.”
The two bands also let fans know that Gareth Mason no longer goes by the name “Gaia.” They used the pronouns they/them/their to address the musician.

Amidst the allegations against Mason, his social media accounts were no longer visible. The musician, however, had used GoFundMe to solicit money in 2021 for “studio time.”
The singer declared their intention to record a solo album. They disclosed that they had worked with Damage Audio’s “Faz” to make their own CD.
Mason continued by saying that they were “pretty poor” and lacked the funds to record their own CD. They disclosed that they will need money for trip expenses, vocal recording sessions, mixing, and re-amping.
The fundraising effort had raised £1,590 as of the time this article was being written.
Mason stated in an interview about their experience as artists with Slice The Cake:
“We are pretty familiar with one another at this time, but we’re artists, too. Jack and I butt-head all the time since we’re both conceptual diva types, funny! We’re like two heads of the same coin so we butt heads loads but we love each other really so it’s cool!”
As was previously informed, information on their “serious criminal charges” was not posted online. The band’s fans are currently waiting for the same.
