On Sunday, Moosewala was brutally attacked while he was in his car. While Moosewala died on the scene, two other individuals on his route were injured.

Since then, lots of people have voiced their displeasure against the law and order in the Punjab government and why his security has been removed recently.
But now, in a shocking twist in the case, Goldy Brar, a Canadian criminal, has apparently claimed responsibility for the horrible murder of the Punjabi musician. On Sunday, Moosewala was slain in broad daylight in his Mahindra SUV in the Mansa district.

Who Is Goldy Brar?
Goldy Brar is a Canada-based gangster. His real name is Satinder Singh. He is known as the close aide of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. While his exact age is not known, he is believed to be aged 30-40 years.
Recently, he took responsibility for the killing of Sidhu Moosewala. In his alleged posts that went viral on social media, he said that his module in Punjab carried out this assassination. Let me tell you that Sidhu was recently attacked by 8 assailants who were equipped with various weapons including three AK- 94 rifles.
Brar was the main element in the assassination of Gurlal Singh Pehalwan, a youth Congress politician, in Faridkot in February 2021. In March 2021, a Faridkot court issued an open-ended non-bailable arrest warrant for the gangster. Earlier in May, he was also arrested by the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab police in Bhatinda.
Why Did He Murder Sidhu Moosewala?
The murder may have been motivated by the killing of Vikramjit alias Vicky Middukhera and Gurlal Brar.
Vicky Middukhera was reportedly hunted and shot dead in Mohali, Punjab, last August. The incident, according to reports, was the consequence of a long-running rivalry between Vicky and Sidhu Moose Wala.
According to some stories, the fight was about who would control and rule Punjab’s music business. Vicky’s manager was allegedly involved in the alleged murder plot, which was hatched in a studio.
