Goldy Brar, a Canada-based criminal, has claimed responsibility for the assassination of famed Punjabi singer-turned-politician Sidhu Moosewala on Sunday. Lawrence Bishnoi’s name has also surfaced as a suspect in the murder.

Brar reported on social media to accept culpability, stating that “he and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang were behind the murder.”
“Today, Moosewala was assassinated in Punjab, and I, Sachin Bishnoi, and Lawrence Bishnoi accept responsibility. It is our responsibility. Moosewala’s name was mentioned in the murders of our brothers Vikramjit Singh Middukhera and Gurlal Brar, but no action was taken against him by the Punjab Police. We also learned that Moosewala was engaged in our colleague Ankit Bhadu’s encounte,” Goldy said in a social media post.
Moosewala, 28, with a massive fan base numbering in the millions, was shot dead outside his village in Mansa district less than 24 hours after the authorities reduced his protection.
Moosewala was brought to a local hospital and pronounced dead. According to the civil surgeon at Mansa hospital, Moosewala was declared dead, and the two others were sent to another hospital for treatment.
What was the source of the disagreement?
On August 7, 2021, one Vikramjit Singh Middukhera, 33, a Youth Akali Dal leader is known as Vicky Middukhera, was shot dead. There were suspicions that Moosewala commanded his manager, Shagunpreet Singh, to carry out the murder. It was claimed that Singh recruited members of the Kaushal gang to carry out the murder of Middukhera.
Singh escaped overseas in April of this year after his name came up during an inquiry.
Members of the Kaushal-Bambhia-Lucky Patiala gang, Anil Kumar a.k.a. Latth, Sajjan Singh a.k.a. Bholu, and Ajay Kumar a.k.a. Sunny, were detained by the Delhi Police Special Cell. They were eventually turned over to the Punjab Police.
They told the police that Bhuppi Rana and Amit Dagar were engaged in providing orders for Middukhera’s murder.
Apparently some Canada Based Akali supported gangster Goldy Brar who is close associate of Rajasthani Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi took responsibility of Sidhu Moosewala's murder.

Since then, Moosewala had been on the radar of the Brar and Bishnoi gang.
The murder of Vikramjit Singh, alias Vicky Middukhera, in front of a property dealer’s shop in the Sector 71 market was linked to Gaurav Patial, alias Lucky, who is running the Davinder Bambiha gang from Armenia.
Lucky, a resident of Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh, is presently residing in Armenia and aged between 30-40 years. After the murder of Middukhera, the Davinder Bambiha gang had claimed its responsibility and it was found out that Kaushal Chaudhary, a resident of Naharpur Rupa village in Gurugram district who is now lodged in the Karnal Jail, had coordinated with fugitive members of his gang to help Lucky.
Gaurav Patial, alias Lucky, had conspired to kill Vicky Middukhera with the help of Kaushal Chaudhary and Amit Dagar, who is lodged in the Mandoli Jail.
