Gabriel Chuchu aka Nepo Baby or Gabriel Xuxu is a well-known child personality on Instagram and TikTok who makes videos on his family accounts
Gabriel Chuchu plays minigames to win cash, candies, and sometimes even chuchus which is a type of pumpkin that is consumed in Brazil. The Brazilian child became well-known online in February 2024 when fans observed that his parents frequently assisted him in selecting the best prizes from the mini-games (thus the slang term “Nepo Baby”).

Later that month, in July 2024, internet users created the nickname “Gabriel Xuxu” after the child repeatedly won the chuchu vegetable, which he despises, as a prize with him seen winning the same vegetable he hates in almost every game the parents play with their children.
In November 2023, the Brazilian child Gabriel Lima aka Gabriel Chuchu began to show up in TikTok videos that the parents shared under the handles @yasmimgabriel20 and @arieloliveirag. Gabriel’s comedic sketch videos became quite popular in Brazil in late 2023, but it wasn’t until January 2024 that he became more well-known due to his involvement in several mini-games with his family and friends.
For instance, the TikTok account @yasmimgabriel20 released a video on January 26, 2024, in which children from Brazil had to determine the colour of the plastic bottles in order to win modest prizes.
In 2024, a group of fans began to cheer for Gabriel Lima whenever he lost or had bad luck in the minigames, or whenever the young player won a chuchu vegetable. They gave him the nickname “Gabriel Xuxu” in recognition of this behaviour.
On September 20, 2024, for instance, Gabriel played a mini-game in which he had to blow a plastic cup to win various other prizes. As a result, Lima won three chuchus in a row.
Why is Gabriel called Nepo Baby?
For those who don’t know, Gabriel Lima from Brazil went by the moniker “Nepo Baby” because, in practically every video, he got advice from his father, Ariel Oliveira mid-game and won prizes inexplicably.
