After his very successful attempt to climb The Shard, which stands at the height of 1,017ft, 310 metres, the 21-year-old is now in police custody as per reports.
In the earlier hours of Sunday, on September 4th 2022, the Metropolitan Police were called to the giant office and hotel complex after getting sightings of a climber according to the BBC reports.
The 21 year old, thought to be Lockwood, was arrested on the suspicion of trespass while two other men were held on its suspicion of causing a public nuisance, the Guardian reported.
According to the posts made on Lockwood’s official Instagram, it appears that prior to his arrest he was successful in his attempt to climb the structure, stopping at the summit of the 72-ebuilding to pose for a selfie.

While this may be the most publicized example of the Lockwood’s climbing feats, this is not the first time the 21 year old has made his way up of a skyscraper.
According to his YouTube, Adam Lockwood documents his different adventures. His ‘Nuisance’ has garnered more than 13,000 subscribers, with more than 25,000 people following the climbing fanatic on official Instagram.
Little more than two months ago, the Nuisance received over 140,000 views when Lockwood recorded himself hanging from the edge of a crane in the city of Dubai.
This weekend’s Shard climb isn’t its first time Lockwood has been arrested for his stunts. In the year 2019, the then-teenager was handed a three-month suspended prison sentence for climbing tall structures, including cranes and office buildings.
