Career
Kayode’s impressive season in Israel led to a transfer to Austrian club FK Austria Wien on a four-year deal. On August 2, 2015, he scored on his debut against SC Rheindorf Altach.
Two years later, Manchester City signed Kayode on a four-year deal and loaned him to Girona for the 2017–18 season.
Standing at 1.74 m (5 ft 9 in), Kayode made his La Liga debut on August 19, 2017, in a 2–2 home draw against Atlético Madrid. In March 2018, he was loaned to Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk.
After returning from Sivasspor, he did not play for Shakhtar in the first half of the 2022–23 season. In the winter 2023 transfer window, he was loaned to Ümraniyespor until the end of the season.
