Chatori Rajani’s son Taran Jain passes away
Popular food influencer Chatori Jain recently shared tragic news on Instagram with her followers on Tuesday evening. She revealed that her son Taran Jain lost his life in an emotional post. Rajani and Sangeet Jain, her husband, jointly wrote a message saying:
With a shattered heart, we share the unbearable news that our beloved gem, Taran Jain, has passed away in a road accident.”
Taran often appeared in his mother’s cooking videos, with his most recent appearance being in a February 5 reel. The tragic news has left her entire community of followers in shock. Her followers have flooded the comments section with tributes and condolence messages. The family also shared another update stating that a Shok Sabha (prayer meeting) will take place on Wednesday, February 19. The Shok Sabha will take place at the Terapanth Bhawan in Chhattarpur, Delhi.
Taran who was studying in class 11th was reportedly coming back from tuition when the incident occurred in Delhi.

Rajani Jain, more popularly known as “Chatori Rajani”, is a resident of New Delhi, who is renowned for her relatable cooking videos. Rajani comes from a Marwari family and grew up in Chennai. She runs a YouTube series where she reveals what she has cooked for her husband for lunch. Over time, she managed to gain a large community of followers, amassing over six lakh followers on Instagram and over 3.7 lakh subscribers on YouTube.
Chatori Rajani was born on October 8, 1988, in Delhi, India and is married to husband Sangeet Jain with her having a 16 year old son named Taran who recently passed away in an accident.
