Frank Harwood was a firefighter with the Kootenai County Fire and Rescue who was killed in the recent Idaho shooting. Prior to his death, he devoted over 17 years of his life to Kootenai County Fire and Rescue. Prior to joining the department, he served as a combat engineer with the Army National Guard. Harwood’s colleagues described him as calm under pressure and deeply committed to both his crew and the citizens.
