Lyon’s assistant coach Raffaele Longo was also injured and Grosso’s head was heavily bandaged, and he required stitches for a deep cut over his left eye.

Fabio Grosso is an Italian manager and former player who was born on November 28, 1977 in Rome, Italy. Currently, he leads Lyon, a team in Ligue 1. The 45-years-old measures 1.90 m (6 ft 3 in) tall.

Fabio Grosso had previously played for several smaller Italian teams as a defender, such as Chieti, Perugia, and Renato Curi, before he made his breakthrough in his two seasons at Palermo. He was consequently sent to Inter Milan in 2006, the Serie A champions at the time.
