28-year-old Audrey Hale started an open shooting at The Covenant Elementary School in Nashville, taking six lives, including three children. She was a former student of the school.
Hale can be seen travelling to the school in a Honda Fit on surveillance footage. According to authorities, the shooter had two AR-style weapons—a rifle and a handgun—as well as a pistol. In order to enter the facility, Hale blasts out the glass of a side door while wearing camouflage-patterned jeans, a white T-shirt, a red cap, and a black vest.

The Nine-Year-Old Hero Girl
On Monday, nine-year-old Evelyn Dieckhaus died in a mass shooting that happened at a school. Dieckhaus pulled the fire alarm to shield her classmates from being shot and has been identified for the first time.
Her family has called her a “shining light” and expressed how her death has left them “completely broken.” They also said that during the Monday shooting, she had been frantically attempting to activate the fire alarm to summon assistance.
People Who Died In Shooting
Will Kinney, who was shot and murdered in the massacre together with Hallie Scruggs, also 9, has received a deluge of condolences. His family praised him for loving his two younger sisters and for being “unfailingly kind” and “always inclusive of others.”
According to a GoFundMe page created by a Kinney family friend, Will had an unwavering spirit. Always inclusive of others, he was unfailingly courteous, compassionate when necessary, quick to joke, and quick to smile.
He admired his parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and he cherished spending time with his sisters. He also enjoyed entertaining people of all ages.
Another child was Hallie Scruggs, who was the daughter of the senior pastor at the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
The school shooting also claimed the lives of the headmistress, Dr Katherine Koonce, 60; the substitute teacher, Cynthia Peak, 61; and the cook, Mike Hill, 61.
As per the records of the Gun Violence Archive, in the US, there have been 130 mass shootings in one year.
