Meghalaya’s president, Ernest Mowry stated that the BJP party has not passed any ban on eating beef and the BJP party is not against it. The BJP state president’s statement comes as the assembly elections are now about to be held in the state of Meghalaya.

“BJP is not against buying and also eating beef. I am in the BJP and eat beef. There is nothing wrong with that. This time people of the Meghalaya state will stand up with BJP. The BJP party will do well and the results will be visible soon,” Ernest Mowry stated.
After the results, alliances with the non-corrupt parties will be discussed. He added, ‘the BJP party has a no-compromise attitude towards corruption. The election in Meghalaya is on the 27th of this month. The result will be declared on 2nd of March, 2023.’
