Eric Musselman of Arkansas has been appointed as USC’s next coach, the university said on Thursday. He takes over for Andy Enfield, who departed USC after 11 seasons to take a coaching position at SMU.
After moving to Fayetteville in 2019, Musselman, just finished his worst season to date. He had guided the team to consecutive Elite Eights and a Sweet 16 appearance the previous three seasons, but the Razorbacks finished 16-17 overall and 6-12 in the SEC.

Who is Eric Musselman?
Eric Musselman is an US college basketball coach now serving as head coach at the University of Southern California who was born on November 19, 1964 in Ashland, Ohio, U.S.
A look at Eric Musselman’s career
Eric was the head coach of the National Basketball Association (NBA) teams the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, University of Nevada, Reno, and the University of Arkansas.
Musselman was Mike Fratello’s assistant coach for the Memphis Grizzlies in between head coaching jobs at Sacramento and Golden State. In 2012, he became an assistant coach at Arizona State before entering the collegiate ranks. He was the head coach of the Nevada Wolf Pack from 2014 to 2019.
Before taking on the role of assistant coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Chuck Daly and Doc Rivers’ Orlando Magic, and Lon Kruger’s Atlanta Hawks, Musselman served as head coach in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA).
