Rocky Flintoff is a young and upcoming English cricketer who was born on April 7, 2008, in England. He is currently just 16 years old, and he is the son of former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, who is the current head coach of the Three Lions. Rocky mainly plays as an all-rounder, playing as a right-handed batter and a right-arm medium fast bowler.
He currently plays for the Lancashire County Cricket Club at the domestic level. He is notably the youngest-ever player to play for Lancashire as well as the youngest to score a century for the England Under-19s team.

Family
Rocky was born to parents, Andrew Flintoff and Rachael Wools Flintoff. He has three siblings named Holly, Corey, and Preston. During his childhood, Rocky attended Manchester Grammar School and later joined Lancashire County Cricket Club. His brother Corey was also a player at the Lancashire academy.
He plays at St Annes cricket club and has also represented team North in the ECB Bunbury festival.
Domestic career
Rocky Flintoff started out playing cricket at the Alderley Edge Cricket Club in Cheshire. He then played for the St Annes Cricket Club in 2020 before joining North at the Bunbury Festival in 2023. Rocky made his debut for Southport and Birkdale that same year, scoring 76 from 98 balls.
He then made his Lancashire second-XI debut in April 2024, scoring an unbeaten half-century against Durham second-XI. Just a week later, Rocky Flintoff scored his first century, scoring 116 from 165 balls against Warwickshire second-XI. At just 16 years and 16 days, Rocky then became the youngest player to score a century for Lancashire, beating the previous record set by his father in 1994.
Earlier this year, in June 2024, Rocky signed his first-ever professional contract with Lancashire and made his List A debut against Kent during the One-Day Cup on July 28, 2024. Flintoff then scored his first List A half-century after scoring an 88 against Middlesex on August 8, 2024. He made his first-class debut on August 22, 2024, against Surrey in the County Championship.
International career
Rocky Flintoff received his first-ever international call-up for the England under-19 cricket team in June 2024. He scored a match-winning 106 against the Young Lions Invitational XI for their warm-up match against Sri Lanka. Flintoff then scored his maiden century on July 18, 2024, during the second four-day match against Sri Lanka. He became the youngest player to score a century for the England U19s at age 16 years and 102 days. Just earlier this month in December, Rocky played for the England Lions against South Africa A. He will now subsequently represent the Lions in their tour against Australia in January 2025.
