Although in his post, Ye didn’t mention anything about Emmett Till however he did post a disfigured image of someone, which led everyone to believe that it was none other than Emmett Till.

Who was Emmett Till?
Emmett Till was a 14-year-old African-American boy from Chicago. In 1955, he went Mississippi to visit his relatives, where he was brutally lynched and killed. Mamie married Louis Till in the fall of 1940 and gave birth to Emmett the following summer but the couple separated soon after.
The teenager was killed after then 21-year-old Carolyn Bryant Donham made accusations against the 14-year-old.
When Till went to a grocery store, the 21-year-old Carolyn accused him of passing “lewd comments,” as well as whistling at her.
After the claims made by the lady, her husband, Roy Bryant abducted the teen and beat him up and shot him to death.
His disfigured corpse was discovered 7 days later after the incident, decomposing in the Tallahatchie River.
The court trial for the case seemed to be a complete mockery of equality and principles of justice. At the time, the white trio became celebrities and various rallies were conducted to support them.
However, at the trial, Carolyn gave contradicting testimony against the teen. At the trial she said, Emmett had said “ugly remarks” to her before whistling.
Meanwhile, Roy and his brother openly confessed to killing the teen in an interview with “Look” magazine, however they were never charged with the federal crime.
Instead, the couple were referred as “handsome couple,” rather than murderers.
If we talk about present time, Carolyn is presently 87-year-old and living a peaceful life. While her husband, Roy died 13 years after Till’s death due to cancer. No one was convicted for the Till’s murder.
After his death, the black teen served as a catalyst for civil rights moments. Recently, President Joe Biden signed a landmark Act, titled Emmett Till Antilynching Act.
The Act was passed in hope to make lynching a federal hate crime.
Kanye’s Post and Recent Remarks
Coming back to Kanye, a tons of major companies and brands has cut their ties and collaboration with West following the hate speech and his anti-semitic remarks.
After which the 45-year-old musician came up with another idea to seek everyone’s attention. In a recent Instagram post, the rapper shared a disfigured picture of a boy.
Meanwhile he penned, “Ari Emmanuel Can you find a place for the Donda Academy kids to go to school that’s properly zoned for a school?”
Moreover, Ye mentioned that, “this is what “post social media #Blackmirror warfare looks like. After this, he tagged “Economic Lynching” and “Digital Lynching” and expressed about the bankruptcy of his “Social Credit Score.”
The Dark Fantasy singer vented about how everyone cancelled him as he wrote, “You tried to bankrupt Adidas and me at the same time. You tried to destroy my life after all the money I’ve made for the ‘business’ people.
Later he went on to share a screengrab of a conversation with Russell, who seemed to be encouraging him to simmer down or to find better ways to vent.
Later, in a reply, he went on to write that he needs to get the “Jewish business people” to make the contract fair.
Though Kanye hasn’t mentioned Emmett Till in his post, however, the disfigured picture and the constant hate speech against Jews has made everyone wonder if he is comparing himself to the 14-year-old teen.
