Russ Cook completed his amazing journey on Sunday by reaching the Tunisian shore, having left South Africa less than a year earlier.
Dozens of supporters, many of whom had travelled from all over the world to take part in the festivities, joined the UK runner on Sunday for the last phase of his trip.

Known as the “Hardest Geezer” he has finished his last run and raised more than £700,000 for charity after travelling through 16 nations. The absence of an Algerian visa, a problem that would subsequently reappear, quickly put an end to his original goal to run from Tunisia to South Africa, covering 360 marathons in 240 days without rest days.
As now, a little over a year after starting his journey from Africa’s southernmost point, the runner has reached the continent’s northernmost point, here is all you need to know about his girlfriend who was there at the finish line to celebrate his victory.

Moments later, the athlete was shown off with his sweetheart, sipping on a strawberry daiquiri while perched on a white and golden throne, as more compensation for his stunning work.
Russ called his partner, who is hesitant in the spotlight, “an absolute diamond” and said that he “puts through the emotional wringer” every day during his performance.

Emily has a private Instagram account and rarely publishes on her X account, where she states in her bio that she is “Just here for my boyfriend,” which is very sweet of her and tells how much of the supportive partner she is.
Although there are no pictures of her on Russ’ Instagram as he respects her privacy, she did speak about her boyfriend and told how “proud” she was of him, during her appearance for ITV morning show.
