World champion Joey Chestnut is the current hot dog-eating world champion after shattering the previous record in 2021 with 76 hot dogs and buns. Joey received his 15th Mustard Yellow Belt in 2022 after consuming 63 hot dogs and buns. Chestnut, who is currently 39 years old, of Indiana, didn’t appear to be phased by a thunderstorm that caused a delay at the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating contest at Coney Island, New York City.
The record for the most Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs consumed in 10 minutes is presently held by Miki Sudo, the female champion from the previous year. After downing 42 hot dogs and buns on July 4, 2022, Miki claimed her eighth title.

Further, one more fan wrote, “An absolutely wild nickname to be posted on the official SportsCenter page.”
Another wrote, “Glizzy Lizzy just might be my spirit animal.”
The name Salgado seems to be rather well-known. The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest might adopt “Glizzy Lizzy” as an annual tradition. The victorious dog-eaters tied with nine franks in 1980, sparking the start of the customary 10-minute competition, a carnival-like spectacle that is carried on ESPN.
