The jury heard gruesome details about Keishla Rodriguez’s murder in April 2021, which rocked the US territory, during the 25-week trial that led to the verdict. Verdejo was found guilty by the jury of one count of causing the death of an unborn child and one count of kidnapping that results in a death.
On the charges of intercepting and stealing a vehicle with the intent to cause death or carrying a weapon while committing a violent felony, the 12 jurors were unable to come to a unanimous decision.

Eliz Marie Santiago Sierra, Felix Verdejo’s wife, is well-known in Puerto Rico and she is an influencer. Her Instagram account states that she promotes beauty and a healthy lifestyle to her more than 40,000 followers. She was born on December 22, 1995.
According to Verdejo’s Instagram posts, he and the beauty and lifestyle influencer have been married for eight years. He claimed they had been on earth together for seven years in December 2019.
