According to reports, the house that Edwin Castro purchased includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms and is located above the renowned Chateau Marmont hotel.

In addition to a sauna, a steam room, a fitness center, a wine cellar, and an infinity pool, the home boasts a gaming room and a wine cellar. He completed the transaction on March 1, two weeks after lottery authorities made Castro’s identity public as the Powerball jackpot winner. He had decided on a $997.6 million lump-sum payment.

Edwin Castro’s home was designed by Roman James Design and measures 13,500 square feet, according to the New York Post. Additionally, it was built in 2022 and also features a dining area, an open kitchen, and black granite countertops.

With his most recent purchase, Castro now lives next door to several famous people, including Jimmy Kimmel, Dakota Johnson, and singer Ariana Grande. Reportedly, it was the most expensive real estate transaction in Hollywood Hills this year.

30 year old Edwin Castro, a California native, previously won the $2.04 billion top lottery prize. He has been in the news because he recently purchased a lavish residence in the Hollywood Hills.

He was raised in Los Angeles and was a high school athlete.

He did his schooling at Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta, California. Later, he attended Woodbury University in Burbank, where he studied architecture.

According to online sources, Edwin Castro was a Boy Scout and an athlete when he was in high school was was raised in Los Angeles. He was also a football and baseball player during his school days.

Early in November, Edwin Castro bought a winning lottery ticket in Altadena, California, matching all six drawn numbers. The lottery authorities read a written statement that Castro had sent, in which the guy expressed his amazement and pleasure at winning.

Most of his details remain unknown since California law only permits the revealing of his complete name, the name, and the location of the shop that sold him the winning ticket, the day the jackpot was won, and the amount of the prize.

After winning the Powerball jackpot, he purchased the Hollywood Hills mansion that features some top-notch facilities which is a 14,000-square-foot mansion and has been built on 0.58 acres of land. The house has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, along with an outdoor infinity pool and fireplace and the house also includes a gym, garage parking for seven cars, and a motor court.

Edwin Castro, who is 30 years old, emerged as the winner of the $2 billion Powerball jackpot and won the jackpot last month and received around $997.6 million as a onetime lump sum payment.
