Yet before that, Amber Sarcone had been identified as having Chondrosarcoma, a rare kind of bone cancer. The disease typically affects the pelvis, arm, knee, femur, and ribs and develops in cartilage cells. Amber’s right pelvis bone had to be removed, and it had to be replaced with her fibular bone. She had to use crutches for some time as a result.

She has been able to walk without a helper since Tuesday, though. And she has become popular once more after being featured in a touching photo of her leaving the hospital after receiving the good news. Amber twerked in celebration, throwing her cane into the street. Just below, you can see her.

Quite a happy occasion, this. The fact that we can no longer accomplish things that we once took for granted serves as a reminder of how vital those things actually were. Kudos to Amber for the massive win.

Former Steelers first-round safety is signed by the Eagles

The Eagles signed former first-round pick Terrell Edmunds, who spent the previous five seasons with the Steelers, on Friday after losing NFL co-leader in interceptions Chauncey Gardner-Johnson last week. They signed former Saint and Buccaneer safety Justin Evans on Tuesday.

Edmunds, like Evans, agreed to a one-year contract, likely at a modest cost but with the option of returning to the open market this offseason. The 28th overall pick in the 2018 draught was Edmunds. The running back Rashaad Penny, who also signed with the Eagles last week, was picked one pick before him.

In 79 games over five seasons at Pittsburgh, Edmunds started 75. He recorded nine quarterback hits, 15 tackles for loss, five sacks, five interceptions, and five sacks. Since 2022, Adrian Amos, Kevin Byard, and Tyrann Mathieu are the only three safeties to have appeared in more games than Edmunds.
