For those who are curious about the wife of the famous player who’s popularly called as ‘The Wall,’ let us tell you, Rahul is married to a medical surgeon, Vijeta Pendharkar.
Vijeta was born in a family of an Air Force Wing commander, due to the nature of her father’s job, their family had to move around a lot, before actually being settled in Nagpur after his father’s retirement. She was born in 1976 and is aged 48.
The wife of the former Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy, had completed her schooling in Delhi and later got enrolled in Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.
Soon after completing her intermediate in science, she went to study MBBS. Later, she joined Government Medical College in Nagpur and pursued her post-graduation degree in 2022 in surgery.
Back in May, 2003, the two tied the knot together officially in a private ceremony. It was a traditional Maharashtrian marriage which was held at the Border Security Force Training Centre, Banglore.
