Who is Donna Kelce?
Not only does the Super Bowl LVII mark its first Super Bowl of history for featuring two Black quarterbacks, but it is also the first time that siblings will face off facing against each other. With this, Donna Kelce will become the first mother who has two sons playing against each other on a big stage like Super Bowl LVII, as per the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Donna Kelce is well known as the mother of Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce and Eagles’ center Jason Kelce. While it might be the first time that the Kelce brothers will face off against each other in Super Bowl, this is not Donna’s first experience with the big game. She saw Jason win Super Bowl LII by upsetting, New England Patriots, and Travis win the Super Bowl LIV by helping out Patrick Mahomes defeat the San Francisco 49ers.
Donna Kelce redefines the meaning of what it means to be a football mom and ith two sons in the NFL — Jason plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and Travis plays for the Kansas City Chiefs — the proud mama cheers on both of her boys throughout the season, it is the first time a mother has had two sons facing off against one another at the Super Bowl.
The possibility of the Kelce brothers facing off in the Super Bowl has been a “what if” scenario for a while and Ed Kelce, the proud dad of the two NFL superstars, joked with Fox 8’s P.J. Ziegler that he was grateful that his sons would never be on the field at the same time.
Donna Kelce is no stranger to having to cheer on two sons and their respective teams at the same time and regularly wears her Kansas City Chiefs/Philadelphia Eagles jersey on game days to make sure she supports both of her sons and recently showed off her customized jersey on her Twitter account.
When is Super Bowl LVII?
Super Bowl LVII will be featuring American Football Conference champion Kansas City Chiefs and the National Football Conference of champion Philadelphia Eagles. The game has been set to be held at State Farm Stadium based in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, 12th of February, 2023.
Along with the iconic commercials, the Super Bowl LVII will also feature an iconic halftime performance by Rihanna. Rihanna who earlier welcomed her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky in May 2022, called the game “one of biggest stages in the world,” and an “entertainer’s dream.”
How to watch Super Bowl LVII?
Kick-off for Super Bowl LVII will be starting at sharp 6.30 pm EST on FOX. Kevin Burkhardt will serve as a play-by-play caller along with former NFL player Greg Olsen who will be on as an analyst. Both Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi will be FOX’s reporters on the sidelines.
