The External Affairs Spouses Association, or EASA, is now chaired by Dolly Misri, the wife of Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. In order to support and advocate for spouses of Indian Foreign Service officers, it was founded in 1971. The External Affairs Wives Association was its previous name.
EASA has been actively promoting a sense of community among its members and their families ever since it was founded. An EASA Charitable Trust (EASACT) is another feature. In addition, the organization organizes interactive sessions with well-known writers and hosts book clubs.
Her daughter Didon Misri was a law student at the Jindal Global Law School from where she did her BA LLB Hons from 2014-2019 and then did her Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford from 2019-2020. She is currently an Associate (International Arbitration) at Herbert Smith Freehills.
Didon was criticised for her past work with international human rights organisations, including her efforts to provide legal assistance to Rohingya refugees during her tenure with the UNHCR in Myanmar by right wing accounts online.

About Vikram Misri
Vikram Misri was born in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, in 1964. He attended education in Srinagar, Udhampur, and Gwalior, respectively. Later, he enrolled in the Hindu College at Delhi University to complete his Political Science degree.
Later in 1987, Misri attended the Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) in Jharkhand to study management. He then spent almost three years working for advertising agencies. The work that Misri did as an Indian Foreign Officer Vikram Misri was chosen to serve as an Indian Foreign Officer (IFS) in 1989.
