A few days ago, Dr Tushar Mehta reported on his X account that his Apple Watch was taken during a security check at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) T3 Terminal in New Delhi. Mehta said in his post that his Apple Watch was taken after he took it out and placed it in the tray that goes through the scanner.
Mehta said that after discussing it with a CISF official, he noticed a man leaving in a suspicious manner. Mehta went on to say that he needed to go up to the man and take the watch out of his pocket. He went on to say that someone from an airport Helios showroom stepped up to defend the man and got into a fight with Mehta.
Let's be honest: Dr. Tushar Mehta lied and made up a wholly bogus tale in order to get the Muslim man fired from his government job.
It is simply an instance of a savarna spewing and exercising hate and vitriol and 'getting away' with it. It is both typical and usual. pic.twitter.com/A8oLpgh7RR

However, it was soon debunked that no such incident had taken place with Mehta only indulging in spreading Islamophobia with the fanatic doctor quick to delete his Twitter/X post after his lies were exposed.
Mehta is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, Educator, Speaker and founder as per his Instagram bio. He runs his clinic at Address: Gate No. 3, C9- 38, C-9/1, Block C, Ardee City, Sector 52, Gurugram, Haryana 122003.
Dr. Tushar Mehta is a Orthopedic surgeon and Spine Surgeon (Ortho) in Gurgaon Sector 57 and has an experience of 16 years in these fields. He practices at Tushar Mehta in Gurgaon Sector 57, Gurgaon and completed MBBS from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak in 2007 and Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery from National Board of Examination, India in 2011. He charges Rs.1,000 per consultation.
The CISF said that upon checking the CCTV footage, Mehta was seen wearing his watch after security check and he then headed to boarding gate without interaction with any CISF personnel and smoothly boarded the plane after Mehta wrote a whole cooked up story to satisfy his hate. He also conjured up two Muslim names (Shoaib, Md Saquib) in his accusations in a bid to slander Muslims.
The Delhi Airport also confirmed what CISF said from its official handle and said that ‘no suspicious activity was observed’ and that ‘allegations were unsubstantiated’.
Dr. Tushar Mehta, a liar and hate monger, spread the false claim that a Muslim stole his watch and that the CISF helped the thieves. His tweet received hundreds of thousands of views before he got caught red-handed and deleted his account. Is there no punishment for such a crime? pic.twitter.com/ApkX1NlfVV
