According to reports of Variety, Peck was taken into custody in August 2003 on a number of charges pertaining to claims that he had s*xually abused children. He pleaded ‘no contest’ in 2004 to charges of oral copulation with a kid under 16 and performing indecent acts with a 14- or 15-year-old.
