According to the Times of India, a large parade in Surat with camels, elephants, and horses was arranged prior to Devanshi receiving Diksha. She is the older daughter of Dhanesh Sanghvi, a diamond merchant, and his mother’s name is Ami. Her father is the lone child of Mohan Sanghvi, one of the world’s oldest diamond firms and the man who founded Sanghvi & Sons. Sanghvi and Sons reportedly have locations all around the world.
She is a skilled vocalist who has also studied skating and Bharatnatyam. She is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, English, and Marwari.
