Reportedly, an imprison transgender woman, Demi Minor has been accused of impregnating two fellow inmates at New Jersey (NJ) women’s prison, know more about the trans, her crime, charges
The incident prompted the officials to move the transgender woman, Demi from Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women to the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility last month. The latter is a prison for young adults in Burlington County.

The Spokesman of the Department of Corrections, Dan Sperraza, told NJ.com that the DOC had moved Demi to a vulnerable unit at the facility where she is the only woman prisoner at present.
Demi’ transfer comes months after it was revealed that she had impregnated 2 fellow inmates after engaging in “consensual sexual relationship with another incarcerated person”.
In 2021, New Jersey enacted a policy that allows the prisoners to be housed according to their preferred gender identity. This policy was the part of settlement from a civil rights suit by a woman who was forced to live in a men’s prison for 18 month.
Although Demi has also claimed in a blog that she is being forced to stay with male prisoners.
Who’s Demi Minor?
Although there isn’t much information available at present about Demi Minor except that she is reportedly serving a 30-year sentence for manslaughter and she is eligible for parole in 2037.
Demi penned down her experience in a blog that, “On June 24, 2022 I was shipped to Garden State Youth Correctional Facility (male facility), due to the fact that I had hung myself in the van, I was placed on Sui-cide watch, prior to going to this darkly lot cell.”
She further went on to claim that she was attacked by a young inmates when she narrates an incident where she was in medication line when an inmate came and told her, “I am not standing behind no fag” and then went on to spit at her.
The 2021 policy allows the prisoners to be housed according to their preferred gender identity, while Demi Minor has claimed the opposite as she penned down that she’s being forced to live with male prisoners.
