Deepa Chauhan began a business in March of 2018 when she formally launched Mortars and Pestles as a chemical-free brand of ready-to-cook pastes and spices. The initial offering was Thai and Middle Eastern but has now grown to include pasta sauces as well as occasional Indian seasonal offerings. She is a part of MasterChef India 2023 in season 7th.
