Wife Deanna Newport along with her kids welcomed her husband Butch Wilmore back on earth from space
On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump stated that he anticipates having rescued astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams in the White House after they “get better,” as it will be “tough” for them.
Before the two NASA astronauts returned to Earth after nine months aboard the ISS, he told Fox News presenter Laura Ingraham, “First and foremost, they must recover.” After 286 days, Sunita Williams, 59, and Butch Wilmore, 62, returned to Earth in a SpaceX spacecraft that carried the stranded astronauts.

Early Tuesday night, their SpaceX capsule made a parachute landing in the Gulf of Mexico. Splashdown happened in the Florida Panhandle, off the shore of Tallahassee. After Butch’s return, people are curious to know about his family including his wife Deanna Newport.
Deanna Newport, a native of Helenwood, Tennessee, is the spouse of Butch Wilmore. The couple live in Houston, Texas with their daughters, Logan and Daryn. While Deanna’s DOB isn’t known, she is aged between 55-65 years while her husband Butch is aged 62. The two have been married for several years now with them currently living in Houston.
Wilmore is married to the former Miss Deanna Newport of Helenwood, Tennessee and Wilmore was raised in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee in a Christian family where his parents Eugene and Faye Wilmore still reside. His brother Jack and his family resides in Franklin, Tennessee.
Daryn, 16, posted a touching video to social media last month, detailing all the things her father had missed, including Christmas.
“He’s missed out on a lot. It’s less the fact that he’s up there sometimes; it’s more the fact of why. There’s a lot of politics; there’s a lot of things that I’m not at liberty say in that I don’t know fully about. But there’s been issues, there’s been negligence,” she said a video posted on February 6.

“Logan’s senior year of high school and Daryn’s college theater performances” were also missed by her father, she continued.
Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore’s return
Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore were both test pilots in the Navy before joining NASA. Williams, 59, was a distance runner and competitive swimmer from Needham, Massachusetts, while Wilmore, 62, played football in high school and college in Tennessee. While Williams used internet calls to stay in touch with her mother, husband, and family from orbit, Wilmore missed the majority of his younger daughter’s senior year.
Months in space can cause bodily problems, such as loss of bone and muscle, fluid changes that can cause kidney stones, visual problems, and readjusting one’s balance when gravity returns. NASA has a thorough understanding of these consequences and manages them. Prior to launch, both astronauts, who were seasoned members of the ISS crew, updated their station training.
