A look at Dayana Yastremska’s career

Yastremska achieved rapid success on the WTA Tour after finishing second in both the singles and doubles categories of a junior Grand Slam competition. At the age of eighteen, she made her top 100 debut and won two titles, her first coming from the Hong Kong Open in 2018.

Thanks to a fantastic 2019, she rose from No. 58 at the start of the season to No. 22 by the finish. At the moment, she is ranked 21. Yastremska’s competitive eligibility was provisionally halted at the start of 2021 as a result of a positive mesterolone test.
