The ‘He Gets Us’ campaign initially launched in 2022 in order to promote Jesus and Christianity. Fans have been curious about the donors behind the two commercials during the major football game, since a single commercial cans cost millions of dollars.

David Green is the founder and owner of a national chain of craft stores called Holly Lobby. Along with being a donor for the He Gets Us campaign, Green is also a big donor to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.
Following the news about his involvement, the He Gets Us campaign released a response stating:
The Greens are part of a diverse group of individuals and entities with a common goal of sharing Jesus’ image authentically”
Last year in November, Green also appeared in Glenn Black’s podcast where he reportedly stated:
