Danish wonderkid Lasse Abildgaard will reportedly head over to Carrington at the Trafford Training centre for a one-week trial with Premier League giants Manchester United, find out more about his brief bio, age and career stats.

Lasse Abildgaard is an upcoming Danish footballer, who was born on February 27, 2007 and is currently 16-years-old. Abildgaard currently plays for the Silkeborg IF Under-19 team and is yet to make a first-team debut. He joined the team back in August 1, last year, and has since made 8 appearances in the youth league.

The young forward who primarily plays as a right-winger has also made seven appearances for the Danish Under-16 national team. He has so far scored three goals in those games.

Manchester United set to take Lasse Abildgaard on a one-week trial

Just last November, Abildgaard had a two-week trial at Ajax. Lasse Abdilgaard now has the chance to impress the coaches at Manchester United who are willing to take him on for a one-week trial.

The young teenager will reportedly spend a week on trial at Carrington starting on Monday. Bsides, Abildgaard, his representatives from Silkeborg are also expected to be joining the young starlet in Manchester.

Manchester United on the move to sign youngsters

A side from Abildgaard, the Red Devils recently took another youngster on loan last November. United signed former Reading ace Princewill Ehibhatiomhan, after the 17-year-old striker rejected a contract offer with the Royals in order to pursue opportunities.

Besides Manchester United, Princewill also had a trial with Chelsea, where he scored in pre-season matches against Leeds and Coventry. The young striker then went to Southampton, where he scored against Crystal Palace and Fulham.
