So many disgraceful things in this #USMNT soap opera. Abuse, treachery, lies, blackmail, jealousy, etc. Berhalter and his wife dealt with this 31 YEARS ago. The jealousy and discontent of GGG by Claudio and Danielle Reyna is next level wicked. pic.twitter.com/rje5E3jtyo

When the US Men’s National Team lost to the Netherlands in the round of 16 of the World Cup, Danielle was disappointed in Gio for not receiving enough playing time.
Rosiland and Danielle exchanged details from their time as roommates while attending UNC. It’s unclear how Danielle connected the grace in Berhalter’s circumstance to her son’s playing time.
Who is Danielle Egan, wife of Claudio Reyna as they admit to revealing the incident to U.S. Soccer troubling Gregg Berhalter
Before getting married, Danielle Egan, a lightning-quick outside midfielder for the USA Women’s National Team, was Claudio Reyna’s wife.
From 1991 to 1994, Danielle competed for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels alongside notable players including Mia Hamm.
In 1997, Claudio Reyna and Danielle Egan got married. The couple shortly relocated to Europe, where Claudio continued to play professionally for several teams and served as captain of the US Men’s National Team.
Following the births of Giovanni, Joah-Mikel, and Carolina, the couple had their first son, Jack, in 1999. Jack Reyna’s death in July 2012 after a difficult fight with cancer brought tragedy upon his family.
Giovanni, also known as “Gio” in the soccer world, is continuing both of his parents’ traditions.
The 19-year-old soccer star possesses speed like his mother but also possesses his father’s technical abilities. In an interview, he stated:
“I think my parents say I got the best of both of them, to be honest.
“My dad was more of a technical, combining player, good on the ball, and with good technique, while my mum was more of a runner.”
He further said:
“I think I can run pretty well too, but I also have a good technique and a good combination. I think I got the best of both of them.”
Additionally, he claims that playing soccer with his late elder brother Jack in the backyard helped shape the soccer player he is today.
Joah-Mikel, the couple’s other kid, is 16 years old and has already gained fame for his soccer prowess.
Carolina, their 13-year-old child, is named after her mother’s alma matter and may one day play there.
