Who is Uday Saharan?
19-year-old Uday Saharan is an Indian cricketer and Punjab batter who is currently captain of India U19 for Asia Cup in Dubai. He was born on September 8, 2004 and hails form Ganganagar, Rajasthan but his height isn’t known.
Saharan scored the best score at the Under-19 Challenger Trophy held in Guwahati last month. With four half-centuries and a career-high 93 not out, he amassed 297 runs in four innings.
In the last five years, he has advanced through the ranks, competing for Punjab in the U-14, U-16, and U-19 divisions. After switching from playing for Fazilka to Bathinda, Uday found that the Punjab Cricket Association’s facilities were quite helpful in developing his abilities and that’s where it all started, all thanks to his father who convinced him to do so.
