The India U-19 team has orchestrated a spectacular comeback in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup 2023 competition, following the crushing loss to Pakistan.
Raj Limbani, a fast bowler, had an amazing session with remarkable stats of 7/13. After crushing Nepal for just 52 runs in 22.1 overs in their final Group A match in the continental championship competition, behind a masterful performance from Limbani, all-rounder Arshin Kulkarni (43 not out) kept the IPL scouts captivated by hitting five enormous sixes to take the score in only 7.1 overs.
Nepal’s worst performance was left for the penultimate game, as none of their players scored in double figures, but they were already eliminated from contention after losing both of their group league games. Hemant Dhami (8), who scored two boundaries to propel the team over the 50-run mark, was their leading scorer.
India had a remarkable Net Run Rate (NRR) of +1.856 and finished with four points. Afghanistan will not surpass India’s net run rate (NRR) even if they can chase down the 304-run total against Pakistan.
Meanwhile, with his blistering pace, Limbani decimated the Nepal innings and was named player of the match. Here is what we know about the player who is grabbing headlines.
