Mahesh Pithiya age, career, latest news
Mahesh Pithiya is a native of the city of Junagadh based in Gujarat. He is a spin bowler who has been training with Australian batters to help them in tackling Ashwin’s spin-bowling on the field during the Border-Gavaskar series. Pithiya’s style is completely original as this player had not seen Ashwin bowl until the age of 11 years.
Pithya’s family was not having a television during his initial game years so he couldn’t see any matches. This right handed batsman is 21 years old in 2023.
To no one’s surprise, Ashwin became Pithiya’s idol when he saw him for the first time. At that time Ashwin was him playing for India against the team West Indies in early 2013. Pithiya went on for making his first-class debut in the month of December for Baroda, and has drawn a lot of parallels with his cricketing hero.
With the spin-friendly conditions in India, Ashwin will be proving to be the biggest threat to Australia in the upcoming Test series. Due to this, the Australian support staff got in touch with Pithiya and then got him to KSCA Ground in Alur to train with Australian batters. Three pitches on KSCA Ground have been prepared specially by Karnataka Cricket Association to aid spinners.
Australia has lost three successive series against India, including two in their own backyard. The Australian team under Pat Cummins is considered the best team so all cricket fans are excited to see them play against team India.
However, India has lost a Test series at home in 2012. Even without the best cricketer Rishabh Pant, India will be quite dangerous for Australia. All Indian cricket fans are sure that India is going to mark the victory over Australia.
