Due to threats from his ex-girlfriend, cricket player KC Cariappa has now gone to the police for help.

Cariappa, well known for his time with the IPL teams Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders, contacted the police after his ex-partner allegedly threatened to damage his career.
Along with threatening him, he said the woman whose alleged name is Disha had threatened his family members with severe consequences. The same woman had earlier, a year ago, filed a lawsuit against him, and that was when Cariappa made the complaint.
Cariappa revealed his relationship with the woman to the police. He could not, however, carry on the relationship because of her drinking and drug use. She refused to listen to his attempts to talk her out of her drinking habit. In addition, she made threats to end her own life and held him responsible.

Who is KC Cariappa?
Indian professional cricket player Konganda Charamanna Cariappa, also known as K.C. Cariappa, was born on April 13, 1994, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He currently plays for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. The 29-year-old measures 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) tall. He is currently unmarried and single but was said to be dating a girl named Disha.

Cariappa was purchased by KKR for ₹24 million (US$300,000) at the IPL auction in February 2015. He took the pitch for the Knight Riders in the 2015 Indian Premier League against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 11, 2015, for his debut senior cricket match. He got rid of AB de Villiers.
For a reduced fee of ₹8 million (US$100,000), Kings XI Punjab purchased him at the subsequent auction. He rejoined the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2019 when Shivam Mavi suffered an injury.
Ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League, Cariappa was acquired by the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL auction in February 2021.
