Rohit was accused under the Pocso Act because he was involved in a s*xual harassment complaint filed by a sixteen-year-old girl and his marriage with Aishwarya ended in divorce.
Rohit and five other individuals were booked in Puducherry back in 2021. All five of them possessed POCSO (Protection of Children from S*xual Offences) tickets, according to reports. The complaint also involved Rohit’s father, a cricket coach Thamaraikannan and two others.
The girl reported that she had attended a cricket training and that she had been s*xually harassed by the suspects. Furthermore, the victim wrote to the Child Welfare Committee claiming that she had been threatened with dire consequences if she reported something to the police.
