It was a dream come true moment for a 20-year-old Amir Ali, who was called by Rahul Dravid to bowl in the nets for Indian batsmen, know who is the cricketer as his video went viral

During team India’s practice session ahead of the first ODI match against West Indies, Rahul Dravid called Amir Ali, a left-arm spinner to bowl for the team India during the practice session. The call was made after Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was caught up with a minor injury. Ali a native, who was present at that time in the nets was asked to bowl in Jadeja’s absence for about half an hour. ‘‘Indeed’’ it would have been a moment of life for the 20-year-old.

‘‘It was a great experience bowling to an International batsman especially team India. Rahul Dravid provided me an opportunity to gain some knowledge. It was an important achievement in my career and a good experienceʼ’, Amir said.

After the successful outcome at England, team India is now on its West Indies tour for ODI and T20i series. This time team India will be playing in the absence of senior players such as Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who are all being rested from the ODI series. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan will lead the Indian side against West Indies.

It will be a great opportunity for Indian young guns to prove their talent against the West Indies side. As the world cup approaching this year, it will also be interesting to see how this young Indian squad will perform against the two-time T-20 world champion West Indies.
